"Most of these reviews are for Willie Thomas. I have no experience with him as my agent is Mike Livesay and this review is based on my dealing with Mike. I’ve used State Farm for years as my insurance cost less than $100 a month for my old car. A little over a year ago my old car finally started to break down and I bought a used car that was 5 years old. When I switched my car, I had a price increase to bring my cost to $160 per month, which was expected since the car was much nicer than my old car. I recently had my new 6 month policy renewal and noticed the price increased by another $35 dollars a month, bringing it to nearly $200 per month. When I called to ask about this price increase, I was told my Mike’s office that it was inflation and that everywhere had price increases. $35 dollar increase for no other reason then “inflation” when I have zero traffic incidents and zero insurance claims is insane. I have just switched my insurance to geico and it’s back to being under $100 per month for the same coverage."

However, we work hard to offer all available discounts to help lower rates as much as possible. Rates are cyclical, and while companies like Geico may offer lower rates now, this is often due to a temporary “new customer” discount, which can change after the first renewal. Many of our customers find they return to us for more personalized service and comprehensive coverage that truly meets their needs.
